Argentine Parrilla 90cm x 50cm
Parrilla - The “Must Have” bit of kit to get you up and running as an Asador.
The grilling surface is 13mm mild steel. The dimensions are 90cm x 50cm grilling area plus the drip tray. The back legs are 25cm and the front legs 24cm so the fat collects in the grooves and gravity helps it to the drip tray.
The side sections pulls out to give you space for fire building. Robust, solid and great fun. Thank you.
Argentine Cross
Asado 'on the cross' or 'a la cruz' - perfect for cooking a whole lamb, goat or small pig.
This is the proper head-turning bit of kit for whole animal grilling in true ‘Gaucho’ style. It might appear daunting but it is far easier than you would imagine and a huge amount of fun to use with family and friends.
The main pole is 1.3m high and slots easily into its adjustable base. It has 3 cross arms that can be easily moved up and down the pole as necessary. The Sizzle Grills cross differs from others on the market. The adjustable base holds the main pole securely in place because the pole is round and not bar.
The cross can rotate without removing it from the base and can also be inverted to turn the animal upside down with having to remove it from the cross.
Weight-wise a 28kg lamb is the most I have had on the cross and it held up well. I would not recommend much more though. Last year I grilled over 50 lambs on my old faithful so I know they last.
Thank you.
Handmade Argentine Asador Criollo Barbeque Spit.
Asador Criollo - I believe we are the only UK fabricator of this Gaucho kit. The base is the same as the cross.
The Pole is also 1.3m long and rotates in the base without removing and turning it. The individual ‘straps’ allow it to be fully adjusted to fit the meat or fish you are putting in it. I usually use this grill for half lambs, half pigs, large fish and whole flanks of beef.
The design is simple yet highly practical. A lot of customers plump for this before having a go with the Cross.
Thank You.
Chapa 50cm x 30cm
Chapa - A simple but vital bit of Asado kit. A 50cm x 30cm hotplate on 25cm legs with sides to keep any salsas or oil within the grilling service. The Chapa needs a hot kindling type fire to get it up to temperature and holds the heat evenly and for ages.
As it’s the same width as the parrilla it sits nicely alongside. I often use the Chapa for doing vegetables in oil. It’s brilliant for fish and shellfish. Meat wise I use it a lot with offal, which Argentines absolutely love, kidneys and salsa is a personal favourite. Brilliant for taking to the beach, it comes in handy for serving to table too as it has handles on either side
Thank you.
Brasero Fire Basket 50cm x 30cm
The Sizzle Grills Argentine Brasero is ideal for burning your logs to have glowing embers ready to spread your Sizzle Parrilla. Robust, genuine and functional it has the same depth as the Parrilla and Chapa for your garden asados or outdoor kitchen. 50cm wide x 30cm long x 50cm height.
I bought an Asado cross a few months back. I’m really happy with the service and the robust build quality. “ Marcus, Stevenage
